    Acirem Capsules
    Fast Effecting & Powerful
    Herbal Supplement
    For Acid Reflux - HeartBurn

After research of decades, our herbalists have designed an effective herbal supplement formula for heartburn or Acid Reflux (also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease ...GERD). Acirem prevents the acid production in the stomach. It minimizes the symptoms that could injure the stomach, intestines, esophagus among the persons who suffer from GERD. There is a lining of the stomach that has cells producing acids and when these acid pumps backs up in the esophagus it enhances a burning sensation.

What is Acid Reflux Or GERD?
GERD is more than just heartburn, although that is the most common symptom.  After you eat, a part of your digestive system called the lower esophageal sphincter normally stays closed as you digest food, but sometimes the sphincter relaxes, letting stomach acid flow back (reflux) into the esophagus.  In other words, it occurs when the lower portion of the esophagus does not close efficiently, thereby enabling stomach contents to leak back into the esophagus.  When this stomach acid contacts the lining of the esophagus, it often causes a burning sensation in the chest or throat, commonly known as heartburn.  GERD has nothing to do with the Heart. A herbalist understands it as a Liver and Stomach function disorder. Often, Western medicine does not make this critical connection between the Liver and the Stomach.

When you are sleeping, or lying down, it is easier for the acid to flow back into the esophagus, due to the horizontal position of the body. If you find that your symptoms are more severe during the night, simply placing wooden blocks under the head of your bed, to elevate it, can solve this problem. Let gravity help keep your stomach acid in the right place.
Acid reflux syndrome, if untreated, may develop into complications such as erosive esophagitis, esophageal stricture ( a narrowing or obstruction of the esophagus), ulceration or Barrett's esophagus.

Typical Symptoms for which this remedy is Indicated:
    • Re-tasting your food after eating

    Herbal Ingredient Information:
Our herbalist have selected most effective herbs for this anti-acidity herbal supplement. When sulphur is processed with Licorice root extract and some other herbs, it results a compound called as Tanbura, which is known as best herbal remedy for acidity and stomach ulcers from years. The tanbura is much similar in structure and properties with Esomeprazole. One capsule contains about 20mg of Tanbura. So it is same effective as Esomeprazole 20mg. Ginger is not included in this formula, as it decomposes the tanbura and makes the formula less effective. Indian Jujube is a fruit that has been used to treat peptic ulcers and ingestion that is non-ulcer related. Studies have found Indian Jujube to have considerable antioxidant effects, and it significantly reduced gastric mucosal injury and acid secretion. Indian Jujube is made up of cell-protective properties as well as antiulcer, and antisecretory properties.

Home Remedies For Acid Reflux or GERD:

We are including here a few home remedies, which can help to control acid reflux.
1-If you find yourself suddenly suffering from an episode of acid reflux, a quick solution is to drink a large glass of cold water. This will temporarily dilute the stomach acid, and give you time to find your antacids.
2- Here is a tea that you can make to help relieve the symptoms of heartburn, since it reduces the amount of acid you have in your stomach. Note that some variants of this remedy suggest adding peppermint, but this is NOT recommended.
Mix together equal amounts of aniseed and lavender. Boil 2 1/2 cups of distilled water.
Pour the boiling water over a teaspoon of the herbal mixture.
Let this tea sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
Strain the tea and add a little bit of honey as a natural sweetener.
Drink up to 8 oz of this tea in the morning and 8 oz in the evening to get relief from acid reflux or heartburn.
3- Fennel seed is an aromatic but powerful herb that helps in digestive conditions and has many other benefits. Fennel seeds contain a compound known as Anethole, which is known to suppress spasms of the stomach or gastrointestinal tract spasms. Therefore, it is considered to be an effective remedy for Acid Reflux. Take half a tea spoon of Fennel Seeds and chew them slowly after your meals.

    Causes Of Acid Reflux :
The original acid reflux cause is still unconfirmed by the doctors. However, there are a few possible contributing causes of acid reflux disease. They include:
    • Defective lower esophageal sphincter
    • Hiatal Hernia
    • Pregnancy
    • Peptic ulcers and insufficient digestive enzymes
    • Asthma
    • Lifestyle Causes
    • Over -eating can also cause an episode of acid reflux. If your stomach becomes too full, you produce extra acid to digest the food. This extra acid then flows up into the esophagus because of the pressure of a full stomach. Loosening your belt can allow more room for digestion to take place, and solve the problem.
    • Many common medications and natural supplements can irritate your stomach and cause acid reflux. Common culprits include aspirin, ibuprofen, iron and calcium supplements, herbal sex enhancers and NSAIDS. Sometimes simply taking your medication with a little meal or a small snack will solve the problem.
    • Stress will cause your body to produce more stomach acid, as well as slowing the digestion of your food. This is the perfect set up for an episode of acid reflux. If you are in a stressful situation, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods that can trigger heartburn. You may feel that these things help you relax, but the burning pain of acid reflux will counteract any relaxing effects of the food and drink.
Foods Which trigger The Acid Reflux:
Here are some common heartburn triggers that may—or may not—affect you. Of course, it’s best to avoid the foods that bother you.

    - High-fat foods tend to relax the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) muscle, which usually stays tight to keep acid in the stomach and out of the esophagus. Also, foods with higher fat content digest more slowly; this leaves food and acid in the stomach much longer, increasing your chances of experiencing heartburn.
    - Tomatoes, citrus fruits, and onions are acidic and trigger heartburn in some people.
    - Mint, long thought to aid in digestion, tends to stimulate reflux in people with acid reflux disease.Mint flavoring products can worsen reflux symptoms.
    - Alcoholic drinks can damage the lining of the esophagus and the stomach. And fermented beverages, like wine and beer, also can increase the production of stomach acid.
    - Caffeinated drinks—including coffees, teas, sodas, and even hot chocolate—are a problem for some people with acid reflux disease. Even decaffeinated coffee, although better than regular coffee, is still acidic and can aggravate heartburn. Sodas, even if caffeine-free, can trigger heartburn because they are carbonated.
